1.6” differential shaft is consist of various 6” friction rings,please see pictures;

2. Applicable inner diameter of paper tube = Φ152.4mm;

3.Standard friction ring width 20mm,25mm,30mm,35mm, 45mm, 40mm, 50mm;

4 Standard inner diameter of friction ring, ID = φ60, other sizes can be customized;

5.If CORE ID of customers are not standard,or can not be confirmed,please send us the sample tube for measuring;

6.If CORE of customers are plastic tube,please measure the Core ID accurately.

Features, Use of Differential Air Shaft:

Differential Air shaft is mainly used for slitting equipment with high quality requirements and fast speed. It has special segmentation with air expanding function, independent slip and torque setting structure, which will solve the unwinding phenomenon caused by the thickness and unevenness of each roll of material, which can effectively improve product quality and work efficiency.

Structure & Principle of Differential Shaft:

The sliding shaft mainly consists of a mandrel, flat bladders,friction rings.

Air enters the inside of the airbag to cause air expansion, pushing each slip ring to expand outward, and the slip ring is set according to the inflation pressure and the slip torque value of each torque group, which is convenient for controlling each roll of material on the slitter tension adjustment.

Ordering instructions of Sliding shaft:

The customers must provide the dimensions and tolerance levels, nozzle position, order quantity, and delivery time when ordering.

The difference between the differential shaft and the ordinary air expanding shaft is that the ordinary expansion shaft structure is usually a whole expanding structure only,and no segmentation, no slip function, and there is no corresponding change in the tension due to material change when cutting multiple strips. The slipping action, when the tension changes or the material thickness is uneven, is likely to cause uneven winding, broken strips, loose rolls, and unwinding, resulting in materials’ loss. Besides,the winding speed of ordinary pneumatic shaft is low, and the work efficiency is poor. The same axis cannot receive the large and small volumes at the same time.

The slip shaft adopts central air pressure control, which can realize online adjustment without stopping according to the user model. The torque force of each slip sleeve can also be adjusted according to the pressure of the air pressure to achieve the required tension of each roll of material on the dividing line. The adjustment makes the relative slip between the slip sleeves and automatically adjusts its linear velocity. This solves the problems that arise when the ordinary air shaft is split. Therefore, the use of the friction shaft can greatly improve the range of machine adaptation and work efficiency.
