Ball Type Friction Rings For Differential Air Shaft

1. Description of nall type differential ring:

The differential air shafts are consists of various slip rings, which can overcome the problem of rewinding and material damage. The slippage rings are controlled to slip at a certain slip torque (torque), and the amount of slip exactly compensate for the difference in speed, thus it can control the tension of each roll precisely, which ensure the winding quality.

2. The working principle of friction rings/differential shaft:

1). Ball type central air pressure differential shaft is a type of shaft with tension adjustment. The friction rings on it can slip independently,controlled by the tension system, let the compressed air which has a certain pressure come to axle core, so that it will produce friction torque between the friction parts and the sliding ring, and realize constant tension coiling.

2). Ball type central air pressure slip shaft can meet the requirements of high-speed, error in material thickness, multi-stage tension control, high precision requirement on tension control,uniformity on the winding end . It’s ideal for double shaft and center coiling slitting machines.

3). Ball type central air pressure sliding shaft can be divided into two types: pneumatic locking type and mechanical locking type,and on our current product line,the ball type & key type friction shafts are pneumatic locking type both,because the work efficiency of mechanical locking type slip shaft is not so high,so most of manufacturers do not produce mechanical locking type now.

4). Ball type central air pressure differential shaft are made of core roll, differential ring, bladders, friction parts, sealing rings,etc.
