Semi Automatic Tension Controller

KTC-818A semi-auto tension controller is a high-precision, multi-function all-digital intelligent tension controller. It can measure the coil radius by various detection methods and automatically perform tension calculation for automatic tension control.

KTC-818A tension controller adopts a new graphic liquid crystal display, which shows clearer in Chinese and English. It also outputs 0~24VDC control voltage command for magnetic powder clutch/brake. It can also output 0~10V voltage signal to control inverter, servo motor or Other actuators perform high-precision tension control on the coil material. Widely used in printing, packaging, paper, cable, rubber, electronic battery, textile printing and dyeing industries.

Radius Tension Control

The outstanding features of radius tension control are the abandon of tension transducer which is of relatively higher price, it has simple installation, easy requirement of the tension control's taper.

It is particularly applicable for slitting and collecting machines in the industries of printing, packing and dyeing, etc.

KTC818-1AD controller collects the pulse signal from the main axel and materials' scroll.

After CPU's calculation, it will measure the releasing radius. It changes the exciting current according to coiled materials' radius, setting tension, the nominal torque of magnetic clutch so as to control the tension.

The supply power can output the 0~24V, 0~4A braking current.
