4. Check the system by manual adjustment and operation to confirm that the tension display is normal and the actuator is operating normally.

5. Program the relevant parameters of the tension measurement.

6. Calibrate the zero and full scale of the tension signal and confirm that the tension display is normal. If the tension display is not normal, return to step 2.

In order to perform correct closed-loop tension control, the tension display must be accurate. In this case, the tension controller should be calibrated, and the tension value indicated by the calibrated tension controller can achieve the desired accuracy. The TC818 tension controller uses a two-point linear calibration method, and the calibration process is very simple.

Use the multimeter 200mV file to measure the sensor output signal. When the sensor is not stressed, it is about OmV. When the sensor is stressed, the output signal will change: the greater the force, the larger the signal, but the signal output of the sensor cannot be exceeded. LX series tension The output signal of the sensor will not exceed 200mV, and the output signal of the CTS/HTS series tension sensor will not exceed 20mV. Otherwise, the sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced and installed after calibration.

When the tension measurement is correct, you can enter the automatic and manual operation mode debugging of the controller. Firstly, the manual control mode is used. When the manual operation is normal and the coil material reaches the proper and stable tension, it can be switched to the automatic control mode.

1 Automatic control: When the controller is in the manual control mode, press the AUT0/MAN button, the AUT0 indicator lights, the controller switches to the automatic control mode, you can rotate the value setting knob or press the increment key/decrement key to directly modify the tension setting value. The modification range is limited by the set value [18] and the set value [19].

2Manual control: When the controller is in the automatic control mode, press the AUT0/MAN button, the MANU-AL indicator lights, the controller turns to the manual control mode, you can rotate the value setting knob or press the increment key/decrement key to directly modify the output power. The value, the modification range is limited by the S large output value [20].

As the output value is modified, the tension measurement will change accordingly. When the coil reaches a suitable and stable tension, it can be switched to the automatic control mode. When the controller switches from the manual control mode to the automatic control mode, the controller sets the measured value at this time to the set value to achieve bumpless switching.

The tension set value refers to the target tension to be achieved by the coil during the control process. In the automatic running state, the controller will adjust the output according to the set value, measured value and parameter proportional band [05], integral time [06], quiet zone [07], so that the actual tension approaches the set value. To achieve control effects.

When the tension measurement error occurs, the manual tension controller will automatically switch to the manual control mode when the fault code is displayed, and the automatic control mode cannot be switched by pressing the AUT0/MAN button. The AUTO indicator flashes when the controller is in the stopped state.
