Magnetic powder brake is based on electromagnetic principle and uses magnetic powder to transfer torque. It has the characteristic that the excitation current and the transmission torque are basically in a linear relationship. The output torque has a good linear relationship with the excitation powder current and has nothing to do with the speed or slip, and has the advantages of fast response speed and simple structure. The equipment is mainly composed of inner rotor, outer rotor, excitation coil and magnetic powder. The magnetic powder brake should be careful when disassembling the mechanical seal. It is strictly forbidden to use a hammer and flat shovel to avoid damage to the sealing element. Although the number of main components in the magnetic powder brake is small, its installation involves the assembly of some special components, and the technical content is very high.
First remove the magnetic powder brake from the machine, and then prepare a bracket to support/lay the magnetic powder brake, pay attention to the output shaft lying down. Magnetic powder brake manufacturers use a disassembly tool to loosen several fixing bolts of the aluminum end cover of the magnetic powder brake and remove the aluminum end cover, then continue to loosen the fixing bolts of the cover and take out the cover, take out the stator, and take out the stator. The magnetic powder has been replaced. If Dauguo uses mechanical seals at both ends of the pump, take care of each other during assembly and disassembly to prevent mutual loss.
In the entire disassembly process, there is no too complicated process, it is relatively simple. But after replacing the magnetic powder, you need to pay attention when installing. If the installation is wrong, it will cause serious consequences, which will affect the concentricity and magnetic powder leakage. In the process of installing the magnetic powder brake, there are many installation deviation problems that need to be paid attention to, which must be avoided as much as possible. The matching gap between the gland and the outer diameter of the shaft must be uniform, and the error of each fulcrum cannot exceed 0. 01 mm.
