The transmission system of the belt conveyor mainly controls the speed and tension of the coating machine, so that the coating machine runs smoothly at a certain speed and the coating is uniform.

Speed control method
1. The DC speed of the belt conveyor can change the running speed of the motor by changing the parameters of the motor or the applied voltage.
2. AC frequency conversion speed regulation, this method is currently the most widely used and cost-effective speed regulation method.

Belt tension control method
1. Open-loop control of the tension of the belt conveyor, by controlling the torque of the motor, magnetic powder clutch, magnetic powder brake, etc., to control the film path tension.
2. Tension closed loop control of the belt conveyor, using feedback devices such as tension sensors or floating rollers.


Magnetic powder brakes and magnetic powder clutches are widely used in coil control equipment throughout the country. Magnetic powder brakes and magnetic powder clutches are based on electromagnetic principles and use magnetic powder to transmit torque. The torque transmitted is basically linear with the excitation current. Therefore, as long as the magnitude of the exciting current is changed, the magnitude of the torque can be easily controlled.
 
Due to the above characteristics of magnetic powder brakes and magnetic powder clutches, they are now widely used in papermaking, printing, plastics, rubber, textiles, printing and dyeing, wire and cable, metallurgy and other related winding and unwinding tension control.
