1. Crystallization and calcification on the surface of papermaking rubber roller

The surface of high-quality papermaking rubber rollers should be fine and smooth, feel slightly sticky, and have good ink transfer performance. In production, rubber rollers are affected by fountain solution, ink, paper and other factors for a long time. In addition, each cleaning cannot be completed thoroughly. Remaining impurities are accumulated on the surface of the rubber roller layer by layer. Over time, the original surface of the rubber roller will be closed. The capillary pores form a smooth crystalline layer similar to calcium, which seriously affects the ink and water transfer performance, and cannot stably control the ink color of printed matter. To this end, after washing with car wash water each time, it can be washed with some citric acid water to make some calcium impurities on the surface of the rubber roller react chemically to form soluble substances for cleaning.

2. The quality surface of papermaking rollers is prone to scars and tingling

Because the rubber roller is relatively soft, even hard objects will be scratched during high-speed operation, especially the alcohol fountain solution, which is against the plate roller, and once scratched, it can no longer be used. To avoid such failures, first, check whether the printing plate is tightened or the plate clamp is clamped, causing cracks and cracks at the trailing edge of the printing plate to scratch the plate roller and ink roller; and second, to see if the ink roller is not maintained in time. Ink deposits and ink residues accumulate more, which accelerates the friction, heating and aging of the rubber roller, and makes the surface of the rubber roller covered with pits. This situation is generally more serious on both ends of the rubber roller.

3. The rubber roller is cracked and aged prematurely

There are many reasons, such as excessive dry oil in the ink, which causes the ink to dry and heat on the rubber roller; the cleaning agent used to clean the rubber roller is improperly selected, the cleaning time is too hasty, and the impurities on the rubber roller cannot always be thoroughly cleaned; the workshop ambient temperature Higher, the dampening cooling system does not work well, a large amount of heat generated during the operation of the rubber roller cannot be dissipated in time, and the internal temperature of the papermaking rubber roller is high; the performance of the rubber roller bearing is not good, and it is carried by the ink roller to generate runout friction and compression. Wait.

Deinking

In the offset printing operation, ink emulsification occurs due to "large water and large ink", forming a hydrophilic foundation on the smooth papermaking rubber roller, and deinking will occur. The solution is to remove the emulsified ink, wash the deinking rubber roller with gasoline, and mix the surface with 5% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution and talc to polish the surface, remove the hydrophilic layer, and restore the ink roller's lipophilic properties. At the same time, the metal roller (or hard roller) is also treated accordingly. Hard rollers can also be sanded with fine water sand in a water-drenched state, and should not be fixed at the same location, otherwise the rubber roller will be damaged. The basic solution is to control the pH value of the water fountain solution, improve the ink-water balance, and reduce the emulsification of the ink.
