The electromagnetic clutch controls the engagement and disengagement of the clutch by turning on and off the coil. Pneumatic clutches have gradually replaced the role of electromagnetic and magnetic powder clutches in industrial production due to their safe use, simple installation and replacement. Electromagnetic clutches can be divided into: dry single-plate electromagnetic clutches, dry multi-plate electromagnetic clutches, and wet multi-plates. Electromagnetic clutch, magnetic powder clutch, slip type electromagnetic clutch, etc. Magnetic powder brakes control the engagement and disengagement of the clutch by turning the coil on and off. The magnetic powder brake can strengthen the joint force between the driving and the follower if magnetic powder is placed between them. Such a clutch is called a magnetic powder type magnetic powder clutch. Has been widely used in industrial automation, mining machinery, rubber tires, engineering vehicles and many other fields. The working mode of electromagnetic clutch can be divided into: power-on combination and power-off combination. In the process of using magnetic powder clutches, friction plates often slip. Do you know why? What is the solution?
The main reason for the poor separation of the magnetic powder clutch is that the free stroke of the clutch pedal is too large. Then, after replacing the clutch driven disk, because the cleaning of the first shaft of the transmission was neglected, there were impurities, which caused the gap between the driven disk hub and the first shaft to be too small, the movement resistance was large, and the clutch release was not good.
The air pressure is unstable. The air pressure does not reach the required height in the normal state, resulting in insufficient clutch spring pressure and slippage of the friction lining. Therefore, it is necessary to properly adjust the air pressure and maintain the air pressure in a stable state.
The magnetic powder clutch spring is broken or the spring force is insufficient. The broken spring should be replaced with a new one. If the spring elasticity is insufficient, a washer can be added in the spring seat to restore its elasticity. This can prevent the friction lining from slipping due to insufficient spring pressure.
Many years of experience and technological improvements have led people to gradually choose the single-plate dry friction clutch, because it has the advantages of small rotating inertia of the driven parts, good heat dissipation, simple structure, convenient adjustment, compact size, thorough separation, etc.
The friction lining is ablated and hardened or worn too thin. If the driven disk slips for a long time, the friction lining will be ablated and hardened, and the pressure plate spring will be deformed by heat, and the original performance will be lost. In addition, after the friction lining of the magnetic powder brake wears too thinly, the rivet head will also protrude, and the working surface of the flywheel or pressure plate will be injured. The above will cause the friction lining to slip. Therefore, the friction plate must be replaced in time when it wears to the specified thickness.
The friction between the driving part and the driven part of the magnetic powder clutch uses the friction between the contact surfaces, or uses liquid as the transmission medium (hydraulic coupling), or uses magnetic transmission (electromagnetic clutch) to transmit torque, so that It can be temporarily separated or gradually engaged, and the two parts are allowed to rotate with each other during the transmission process.
The surface of the friction lining of the magnetic powder brake is stained with oil. If the friction lining is stained with oil, its friction coefficient will be greatly reduced, and slippage will occur. In this case, we must first determine the source of the oil pollution. For example, if it is stained with gear oil, it comes from the front oil seal of the first shaft of the transmission; if it is stained with organic oil, it comes from the rear oil seal of the crankshaft of the engine; Then you can take corresponding measures to prevent oil leakage. At the same time, you should also clean the clutch to restore the friction lining to a clean state.
