Problems Of Operation And Maintenance Of Magnetic Powder Brake Machine Seal

1. Preparations and precautions before starting.
A. Comprehensively check whether the mechanical seals, installations of attachments and pipelines are complete, and whether they meet the technical requirements.
B. Perform a static pressure test before starting the mechanical seal to check whether there is any leakage in the mechanical seal. If there are many leaks, the cause should be investigated and eliminated. If it still does not work, it should be removed for inspection and reinstalled. General static pressure test pressure is 2 ~ 3 kg / cm2.
C. Press the pump to turn the car to check whether it is light and even. If the cart is struggling or does not move, you should check whether the assembly dimensions are correct and the installation is reasonable.
2. Installation and shutdown
A. Keep the sealed cavity full of liquid before starting. For conveying solidified medium, the sealed cavity should be heated by steam to melt the medium. It must be cranked before starting to prevent the soft ring from breaking due to sudden start.
B. For the mechanical seal using the pump external oil seal system, the oil seal system should be started first. Finally stop the oil sealing system after stopping.
C. After the hot oil pump is stopped, the cooling water in the oil seal cavity and the end face seal cannot be stopped immediately. The cooling water should be stopped when the oil temperature at the end face seal drops below 80 degrees to avoid damage to the seal parts.
3. Operation
A. If there is a slight leak after the pump is started, it should be observed for a period of time. If the leakage does not decrease after 4 hours of continuous operation, the pump should be stopped for inspection.
B. The operating pressure of the pump should be stable, and the pressure fluctuation should be no more than 1 kg / cm2.
C. When the pump is running, it should avoid evacuation, so as to avoid dry friction on the sealing surface and damage to the seal.
D. Check the sealing condition frequently. In operation, when the leakage exceeds the standard, the heavy oil is not more than 5 drops / min, and the light oil is not more than 10 / min. If there is still no improvement trend within 2-3 days, the pump plug should be stopped to check the seal.
