Tension Controller Automatically Compensates For Clutch/brake Thermal Attenuation

- Nov 13, 2019-

The tension controller is composed of a high-speed microprocessor and a high-power switching power supply. It can work in three modes: constant current, constant voltage, constant power (constant torque), and can automatically compensate the thermal attenuation of the clutch/brake. The torque output is stable and reliable.

The tension controller is not a constant voltage or constant current source of general significance. By controlling the magnitude of the input voltage, you can control the percentage of output voltage and current, not the absolute value of the output voltage and current. For example, when the control voltage is 10V, the load is full voltage and full current is output.

Tension controller material drifts during operation
The stability of the tension controller is directly related to the quality of the slitting product. If the tension is insufficient, the raw material will drift during operation, and the finished paper will wrinkle after slitting and rewinding; if the tension is too large, the raw material will be easily broken, so that the finished paper breaks after slitting and rewinding.

The automatic tension controller directly measures the actual tension value of the material belt by the tension sensor, and then converts the tension data into a tension signal and feeds it back to the tension controller. The signal is compared with the preset tension value of the controller to calculate the control signal. The automatic control execution unit makes the actual tension value equal to the preset tension value for the purpose of tension stabilization.
