Components and functions of flexo printing machine
The flexo printing machine is mainly composed of 4 parts, namely unwinding and feeding parts, printing parts, drying parts and rewinding and receiving parts. On modern flexographic printing presses, there are generally measuring and controlling devices such as tension control, edge position control, register control, printed product observation, and mechanical condition monitoring and fault diagnosis systems.
In order to expand the scope of application, some flexo printing machines are also equipped with glazing, laminating, bronzing, slitting, die-cutting, punching, screen printing, and gravure printing units, becoming a flexo printing joint production line.
The printing speed of flexo printing machine is generally up to 150m/min (or even higher). Under normal operating conditions, in order to reduce the number of shutdown roll changes and the waste of reel material, it is necessary to install an unwinding feeder device with a simple structure. The role of the unwinding feeder is to unwind the roll of printing material, continuously and stably feed the printing material into the printing part, and control the speed, tension and lateral position of the printing material before it reaches the first printing part. The unwinding and feeding unit is composed of a material roll frame and a group of guide rollers. The material roll frame is arranged in a straight line with the printing part. The material roll holder is controlled by electric or hydraulic components to move up and down. Generally, pneumatic components are used to lock the roll paper axis, and the end of the roll paper is equipped with a detector.
The unwinding feeder is also equipped with a digitally controlled electromagnetic brake tension system, the unwinding feeder and the tension control system structure of the flexo printing machine. He can make the best tension control for different substrates, and is not affected by dust and dirt. Among them, the tension compensation control uses a loop-type self-detection system. When the diameter of the web is continuously reduced, it can continuously maintain the tension of the paper (or film) stable.
The unwinding and feeding component is also equipped with a driving roller mechanism. The drive roller is an easy-adjustable variable-speed paper feed roller, which controls the speed of the web to enter the printing unit smoothly, and together with the web brake device generates the unwinding tension of the tape to adapt to different substrates (cards Paper, tissue, plastic film, etc.), while ensuring that the roll paper maintains the correct longitudinal position.
The floating roller machine structure of the unwinding feeding part can reduce the fluctuation of unwinding tension and shorten the downtime when changing the roll to improve the efficiency of the flexo printing machine. Most flexo printing machines are equipped with continuous roll change The device, without stopping the machine, coils the material well. This is particularly important for floating rollers.
The unwinding and feeding device of high-end flexo printing machine is also equipped with an edge position control system. One edge position control system is installed in front of the printing unit, and the other edge position control system is installed in front of the die-cutting table. This design keeps the roll in the correct position throughout the production process.
