The working principle of the magnetic powder clutch is explained as follows:
When there is no current in the excitation coil of the magnetic powder clutch, the magnetic powder in the working chamber is loose. Under the action of the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the active rotor, it is pulled out and pressed onto the inner wall of the active rotor. The driven rotor and the active rotor There is no force interaction between them, so there is no torque transfer between the two rotors, and the magnetic powder clutch is in an "off" state. When a current flows through the excitation coil, a working magnetic flux is generated along the yoke→active rotor→magnetic powder→driven rotor→magnetic powder→active rotor→yoke. Under the action of the working magnetic flux, the magnetic powder in the working cavity is magnetic The through-direction is coupled in a chain shape. The magnetic powder clutch is based on the magnetic powder and the magnetic powder, the friction between the magnetic powder and the working surface and the shear resistance of the magnetic powder chain to transmit the torque, and the magnetic powder clutch is in a "closed" state.
Some details about the application of magnetic powder clutch equipment:
1. The magnetic powder clutch can be installed coaxially or in a split shaft. The axial direction must be fixed. The active part and the driven part are not allowed to have axial sway. When the split shaft is installed, the active part and the driven part are the same. The shaft should be no more than 0.lmm.
2. The installation of the magnetic powder clutch should be away from the oil tank, water tank or the air is too humid, or take effective measures to avoid the impact of the magnetic powder moisture.
3. The newly installed magnetic powder clutch, in order to make the magnetic powder uniform and stable in performance, should be domesticated first. If there is no domestication condition at the installation site, it is recommended not to be put into formal operation immediately after installation, but should be under the conditions that can be achieved. Test run at the appropriate time, and then put it into operation.
4. If the magnetic powder clutch is not used temporarily, it should be stored in a dry, air circulation warehouse, and should not be stored in the same room as corrosive substances such as acid and alkali.
