When the magnetic coil is not conducting, the torque will not be transmitted from the transmission shaft to the driven shaft. However, if the coil is electromagnetically energized, the magnetic powder will attract hardening due to the action of the magnetic force, and the torque will be transmitted between successive slidings. . 1. Use a magnetic powder clutch with a regular mounting method (using the high-speed rotating side as the input side). If the mechanical structure has to be installed in the reverse direction of the shaft, be sure to use it below 1000R/MIN. When the magnetic powder brake input shaft and the output shaft are installed in reverse, the machine will idle for a long time, and the magnetic powder is stirred, which will greatly shorten the service life of the magnetic powder clutch.

2, pay attention to moisture. If the magnetic powder gets wet, the performance will become unstable, so be careful not to let oil or moisture invade the inside. In particular, when it is installed in a gear box, the oil will penetrate into the inside through the shaft, so it is completely sealed with a film.

3, pay attention to the surface temperature. The maximum surface temperature caused by continuous operation is 90 degrees or less during operation. When the value exceeds this value, the durability is greatly reduced. Be sure to use the above-mentioned limit temperature as the standard for the tension controller, and keep it within the allowable sliding work rate when using it.

       The magnetic powder clutch is divided into two categories according to the movement state of the coil: a slip ring type magnetic powder clutch and a non slip ring type magnetic powder clutch.

       According to the shape of the working surface of the magnetic powder clutch: cylindrical magnetic powder clutch, cylindrical magnetic powder clutch, disc-shaped magnetic powder clutch.

       The cylindrical magnetic powder clutch has relatively large structural dimensions and moment of inertia, but has high strength, uniform distribution of magnetic powder and stable performance, and can be used to transmit a transmission shaft system with large torque.

       The rotational inertia and external dimensions of the driven portion of the cylindrical magnetic powder clutch are small, but the distribution of the magnetic powder between the two working gaps is affected by the centrifugal force, and the uniformity and dispersion are poor, which is suitable for the required action sensitivity. Transmission system.

       The structure of the disc-shaped magnetic powder clutch is easy to process, and can be used in a case where the torque is small, and a transmission system with a high joint frequency, which can prolong its service life.
