1. Pneumatic locking type central air pressure slip shaft: This slip shaft is characterized by air pressure while locking the core to generate friction torque, which can realize automatic unwinding, forward and reverse winding, and the film is not unwinded during the winding, not offset, this type of slip shaft represents products such as ball slip shaft and key slip shaft.
2. Mechanical locking type central air pressure slip shaft: the friction torque of this sliding shaft is generated by air pressure, core locking is completed by mechanical eccentricity, its advantage is that no air source is required, can save costs, and the operation is simple and convenient, its representative products are Kataka slip shaft and toothed slip shaft.

 

How the slip air shaft works:
Differential shaft, also known as differential shaft, friction shaft, used as the winding shaft and special unwinding shaft of the slitting machine, the friction torque of the differential shaft is controlled by the air pressure of the compressed air, the differential shaft is composed of a shaft core, friction components and multiple groups of slip rings, each group of slip rings is in an independent slip state, the torque is controlled by the central air pressure or the pressure transmitted by the side, to achieve the tension of each coil inner roll diameter to the outer roll diameter is constant and uniform, the end face is neat, constant tension winding, constant tension unwinding, to ensure that the material tension is measured.

 

Application of slip differential shaft in power splitter:

How to adjust the tension of the slip shaft?
The correct adjustment method of slip shaft tension of the slitter means that during the normal use of the slip shaft, the tension value of the slip shaft will be realized according to the size of the coil diameter of the winding material.
The tension value required when our material starts from a small roll is also very low, and as the roll diameter increases, the tension required also increases. Our tension is related to the air pressure of winding and the speed of unwinding, in general, by adjusting the size of the winding air pressure can achieve the control of the tension of the winding material, if the unwinding tension can also be adjusted it is more perfect. The winding tension realizes the size of the tension by adjusting the size of the air pressure, while the unwinding force realizes the adjustment of the tension through the tension controller. As long as our winding air pressure is increasing and the taper value matches the winding material roll diameter, the ideal winding state can be fully achieved. And this adjustment process, we need the operator to observe the tension of the material from time to time, and increase the air pressure when the tension is not enough, or adjust the taper value to achieve the ideal winding effect.

Maintenance methods and precautions for slip shafts:
1. During the use of the slip shaft, the operator needs to use the air gun to clean the slip ring with the whole shaft to clean up dust, debris, etc.;
2. In the process of loading and unloading, first put all the raised keys in a sinking state under the condition of flatulence, and then assemble or discharge the material; Many manufacturers are because some of the slip rings that are not stuck are still in a convex state, or vigorously push off the large roll of materials, over time, this action will lead to some slip rings convex key inflexibility, and finally the entire slip unit is scrapped.
3. After the slip shaft is used for a period of time, it is necessary to loosen the collar at the tail of the slip shaft, move more than 20mm outward, and then move the slip ring one by one in order, while also using an air gun to clean up dust, debris, etc., many manufacturers have not carried out regular cleaning and maintenance in the use of the slip shaft from beginning to end, and finally lead to excessive debris dust, under the action of slip ring friction, the shaft slip ring is grinded, resulting in the entire slip shaft scrapped or seriously damaged.
4. During the use of the slip shaft, because the sliding ring and the axis friction effect, will produce a certain amount of heat, which is a normal phenomenon, but if the heat is excessive, this is an abnormal phenomenon, excessive heating is because the friction is too serious, in this case is basically to the back to close the coil diameter material will appear in this situation, because the larger the coil diameter, the greater the tension required, if the air pressure is not large enough, that is, the tension is not large enough, the slip ring is excessive slip and heat, In the early stage, due to excessive wear wool felt, there will be a lot of dust, when the wool felt is worn out, the air bag will be directly worn, and the slip shaft leakage phenomenon will occur. Therefore, if the heat is excessive, it must be detected and treated early, and the tension of the machine must be adjusted to prevent more serious situations.
5. In the early days, many slitting machines were not equipped with a splice frame, if the winding material was too heavy, and at the moment of unloading, it was completely in a unilateral cantilever state, under the action of material gravity, the entire slip shaft would slowly deform, the shaft would become bent, and more seriously, the direct shaft fracture. Therefore, if your material is too heavy and there is no splice frame, it is recommended that your company hurry up to install a splice frame, which not only protects the shaft, but also reduces the workload of employees and greatly improves safety.
