The difference between a single shaft magnetic particle brake and a hollow shaft magnetic particle brake:
Generally speaking, the hollow shaft type is relatively smaller, and the magnetic force required is also smaller than that of the single-shaft type. Since the magnetic coil of the hollow shaft magnetic powder brake is hidden in the transmission assembly, it is necessary to pass through the slip ring brush flux coil. As for the single-outlet magnetic powder brake, there is a small gap between the magnetic coil and the transmission unit, so a large magnetic force is required. The size of the coil and fuselage is also relatively large, but the flywheel moment of the input shaft required for both is also reduced.
1) Hollow shaft type magnetic powder brake series, using coil stationary type, no need for power supply snap ring and brush. The clutch is fully integrated, easy to install, and has very good natural cooling.
2) Single-shaft type magnetic powder brake series is a structure that blows compressed air into the void and dissipates the heat generated by the slip difference to the outside. This type can be used as a free cooling type, and an axial fan can be installed at one end of the drive body to improve the cooling effect, so the continuous slip power is allowed to vary depending on the input speed.

 

The structure of the single-shaft magnetic powder brake is as follows:
1) Mechanical body: The mechanical body includes frames, mechanical connections, mechanical transmissions, etc., which is the basis of mechatronics and plays the role of supporting other functional units in the system, transmitting motion and power. Compared with pure mechanical products, the technical performance of the mechatronics system has been improved and the function has been enhanced, which requires the mechanical body to be able to adapt to it in terms of mechanical structure, materials, processing technology and geometric dimensions, etc., and has the characteristics of high efficiency, multi-function, reliability and energy saving, small, light weight and beauty.
2) detection sensing part: detection sensing part comprises various sensors and their signal detection circuits, and its function is to detect the changes of relevant parameters related to the external environment in the working process of the mechatronics system, and transmit the information to the electronic control unit, and the electronic control unit sends out corresponding control to the actuator according to the information checked.
3) Electronic control unit: The electronic control unit is also known as the rhythm and sends out the corresponding instructions to control the whole system purposefully.
4) Actuator: The function of the actuator is to drive the movement of mechanical parts according to the instructions of the electronic control unit. Actuators are moving parts that are usually driven by electricity, pneumatic and hydraulic.
5) Power source: The power source is the energy supply part of the mechatronics product, and its function is to provide energy and power to the mechanical system in accordance with the system control requirements to make the system operate normally. The ways of providing energy include electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic energy, and electrical energy is the main one.

 

Precautions for installation of single-shaft magnetic powder brakes:
Single-shaft magnetic particle brakes, housing rotary brakes. How to install the main accessories of the installation are fixing screws, elastic shafts, mounting plates, unwinding shafts, safety chucks, etc.
If you use a larger magnetic particle brake or brake model (weight is 4KG~100KG), when installing, do not necessarily check whether it is fixed, fasteners and mounting brackets have been fixed.

Installation Precautions:
1)All adopt the inlay method, please do not impact and excessively apply external force when assembling.
2)Please use the magnetic powder clutch brake under the standard installation state of the high-speed rotating end as the input terminal, and the shaft of the clutch and brake must be installed horizontally.
3)Be sure to use an elastic coupling to connect the input end of the clutch.
4)Please pay attention to the belt tension when connecting the pulley, please do not rotate the initial tension beyond the rating.
5. Please make sure that the radiator volume of the mounting plate is more than 350 square CM.

 

Advantages and installation matters of hollow shaft magnetic powder brake:

Precautions for installation of hollow shaft magnetic powder brake:
1) Great attention should be paid to avoid installation deviations during installation
a. The tightening gland should be carried out after the coupling is aligned, the bolt should be evenly supported to prevent the end face of the gland from being deviated, and each point should be checked with a feeler gauge, and the error is not more than 0.05 mm.
b. Check the fitting clearance (i.e. concentricity) between the gland and the outer diameter of the shaft or bushing, and the tolerance of each point should be uniform all around, and the tolerance of each point should not be more than 0.01 mm with a feeler gauge.
2) The spring compression should be carried out according to the regulations, and it is not allowed to be too large or too small, and the error is required to be 2.00 mm. If it is too large, it will increase the specific pressure of the end face, and the end face will wear at another speed. Too small will cause insufficient specific pressure to play a sealing role.
3) After installing the moving ring, the mustache ensures that it can move flexibly on the shaft, and it should be able to automatically bounce back after pressing the moving ring to the spring.

 

Attention should be paid to the removal of hollow shaft magnetic particle brake:
When disassembling the mechanical seal, it is necessary to be careful, and it is strictly forbidden to use the hand hammer and flat shovel to avoid damage to the sealing elements. A pair of wire hooks can be made, and the sealing device can be pulled out at the gap of the transmission seat in the direction of self-financing. If the fouling cannot be disassembled, it should be cleaned before disassembly.

 

How to extend the service life of magnetic particle brakes:
1)Please use the magnetic particle brake in the normal installation method (using the high-speed rotating side as the input side). IF THE if the structure of the machine has to be installed in and out of the shaft backwards, please be sure to use it at 1000r/min or less. 1000R/MIN OR LESS. If the input shaft and output shaft are installed in reverse, the machine will idle for a long time, and the magnetic particle will be stirred, which will greatly shorten the service life of the magnetic clutch.
2) Please pay attention to moisture. If the magnetic particle is wet, the performance will become unstable, so be careful not to let oil or moisture get inside. Especially when installed in a gearbox, the oil enters through the shaft, so it is completely sealed with a film.
3) Pay attention to the surface temperature. The maximum surface temperature caused by continuous operation is 90 degrees Celsius or less during operation, and if this value is exceeded, the durability is greatly reduced. Be sure to use the above limit temperature as the standard, and be sure to keep it within the allowable sliding working rate when using. The magnetic particle brake is formed by combining the input shaft of the transmission unit and the output shaft of the driven unit. The space between the two sets of cells is filled with granular magnetic particles (about 40 μm of rest volume).
